KOTO HIRAI

 

Koto Hirai is a Japanese armateur photographer and graphic designer.

She was born in Tokyo and due to her farther's job the family moved to a country side and had spent her childhood in there. The small village had a great nature, forests, rivers and Ocean. Such an experiences with the natures is making inspiration for her works now.

After graduated her university she started to work at a fashion company in Tokyo. While working there, she met a lot of artists and designers who gave her a big interesting to creations. Afterwords she started to study graphic design by herself and at the same time got a camera for shooting her own vision.

She got married an italian musician and moved to Rome. By seeing own country from out side she recognized how beautiful Japanese cultures and arts are.

Now she is mostly working for her husband creations as a photographer and graphic designer. She still keep studying what about design and photography for her and try to find her own way.
